Been real busy with work and lazy up dating this.
Fitted the dashboard last weekend and have got all the electrics functioning. Which I real happy with. Even thought I'd forgotten how to wire the start button in but soon figured that out thank to some info on Rob Collingridge's website which was a great help.

Also have fitted up the bonnet which looks great. It actual looks like a car now. Also the wheels are painted and Ive had yokohama 48r's fitted in a medium compound.

With roll bar padding fitted

Ive still got a few things to do....
Fit safety harnesses
Fit catch tank
Lap Timer
Transponder
Flat floor setup / geometry setup
Carburettors need re-jetting
Custom seat
rev light wiring
gear change wiring

Then its testing, testing and more testing.
Progress has been slow due to work commitments and a long process of preparing and painting the pannels. Still have the bonnet left to go but all others have been done.

As you can see the tub is now painted and on. Tonight Ive just fitted the rollcage and seats are now firmly fitted. I plan on getting the dash in soon. I will post photos of the rollcage next.

Progress had halted whilst the body work is being prepared and painted. First panel (the scuttle) is painted and fitted. It looks great.

The side pods are prepared and ready to paint. Hopefully will be done next weekend.

Spent the day also preparing the wheels for paint. They have been primed and hopefully can be painted next weekend too.

Since fitting the scuttle I've been able to fit the steering wheel and the gearchange paddles. I needed a spacer so the paddles didnt hit the week. Paul turned down some ali for me it looks sweet. Just need to shorten the spacer by some 7mm.
Been a while since my last update have made limited progress due to family stuff. However I have managed to fit the propshaft and after 2 days hard slog I've finally got the electric reverser fitted. This was the last major piece of the mechanicals to do. I have to wire the reverser up and give it a test hopefully tomorrow.
Reverser in situ

Here is the lever to operate the reverser. I will install a push button in the top of the arm. All I need to do is finalise the bodywork and paint it and start installing everything in anger :0)
